Tour De Seeable 2014 in aid of ‘Cord’

Finished ! – we finished it and it finished us.

Nick Blenkarn & Nigel Moore both completed the two day coast to coast ride along Sustrans route 72 – Hadrians wall.  120 miles in two days starting from Tynemouth Castle on the East coast and ending by the sea at Bowness-on-Salway.

Thankyou so much to all those companies, families and colleagues who sponsored us – made the pain worth while !

Riding against the prevailing wind just to make it more interesting was fine until you realise that sometimes you have to peddle downhill to keep going !

To give the ride a ‘Seeable’ twist, we took photos & video while riding using our new GoogleGlass !  Great for cycling & heads up navigation, but the Seeable angle is our research with glass to create heads up see through AR (augmented reality)  for construction sites & planned developments – watch Seeable Labs announcements to come. #ThroughGlass #GlassExplorers

Stopping on route to make sure we were fuelled for the task 🙂

At the finish (with suitable numb behinds), meeting up with the Severn partnership team who had the harder task of walking the route in 4 days – blood, sweat, tears, blisters and doing the zombie shuffle by the end – a superb effort for our chosen charity, CORD
